Lindstrom 2021 Savoy Vineyard Pinot Noir
A broad array of aromas ranging from caramel to fresh blueberries to aromatic pipe tobacco and a touch of cedar all intertwine, with a bit of vanilla, caramel and orange zest added to the mix.
Soft and silky at entry, the texture is broad and velvety throughout the palate. While caramel and fresh berry flavors are present at entry, the finishing flavors tend toward savory notes of anise, clove, celery leaf.
This wine was created entirely from Pinot Noir (Martini and Calera clones) hand-harvested from the Savoy Vineyard in Anderson Valley, CA on September 10, 2021. The two clones were fermented and barrel-aged individually for about 10 months, then blended just prior to bottling.
A total of 130 cases were produced.
